Hollywood´s interest in avatars, game to cinema is increasing rapidly. New is Avatar, James Cameron (Terminator, Alien) feature which is supposed to have a $ 195 million budget. Premiere 18th of December 2009. Music by James Horner, who has scored over 175 films and is known from the big budget blockbusters as Titanic (which was also directed by James Cameron), The Legend of Zorro and Troy. 

Avatar just might be the switch 'the new' blockbuster, since Cameron is using 2D, 3D, performance capture and live action alltogether in one film.
