Fantoche call for projects

Swiss animation festival Fantoche launched their 2010 call for projects. Fantoche will be holding its International Competition for the eighth time and is searching for the best animated short films worldwide from the last 12 months. Artistically daring ideas, visionary experiments, stories with a twist or the best top-quality entertainment are being sought, whether produced by newcomers, young talents or established film makers. This allows Fantoche to once again feel the pulse of the latest trends coming from the world of animated film. These will be judged by the international jury and the audience during the festival from 7-12 September 2010.

The closing date for the submission of entries is 31 May 2010. Films using all types of animated film technique can be entered for both competitions, including the combination of live action and animated film. Films must last no longer than forty minutes and must have been completed since 31 March 2009. www.fantoche.ch
