Guest-speakers of Playgrounds 2008

In the category Motion Graphics Studio Smack is awarded with Silver for their work ‘Pimp My Planet’.

The European Design Awards is the comprehensive annual awards organization acknowledging the best of graphic design, illustration and multimedia design in Europe. It is based on a collaboration of 14 prestigious communication design magazines in Europe who have taken upon them to support and promote the event.

About Pimp my Planet:

Pimp My Planet is short animated film and game trailer in which the possibilities of playing God are explored. Redesigning the planet according to your ideals or aesthetic values.

This work was commissioned by Art institutes KOP en MU were it was part of the exhibition ‘HIER&DAAR' in 2009. Pimp My Planet is currently part of an exhibition at Graphic Design Museum in Breda.
