dutch motion design: Graduation Project Jurjen Versteeg, Posted by Menno Fokma, Thursday 28 July
Lovely Graduation project 2011 by Dutch Jurjen Versteeg. Way to go! Designed as a possible title sequence for a fictitious documentary, this film shows a history of the title sequence in a nutshell. The sequence includes all the names of title designers who had a revolutionary impact on the history and evolution of the title sequence. The names of the title designers all refer to specific characteristics of the revolutionary titles that they designed. This film refers to elements such as the cut and shifted characters of Saul Bass' Psycho title, the colored circles of Maurice Binder's design for Dr. No and the contemporary designs of Kyle Cooper and Danny Yount.
OFFF Titles 2011 by PostPanic
dutch motion design: I was very proud being a Dutchman when I saw the titles in Barcelona!, Sunday 12 June
Last Saturday I was standing next to Jules Tervoort (one of the founders of PostPanic). We were watching the titles for the first time in the middle of the audience.I could see how proud he was, because the titles and the reaction of the audience were really fantastic. And to be honest; I was very proud being a Dutchman when I saw this. Check it out!
