McDonalds is not healthy, even if you throw some aeplps and milk in there. BUT people have the right to know what they are buying and consuming. Here is what I know, the food comes from industrial farms and is completely processed. NOT one single item on their menu hasnt met a pesticide, hormonesome kind of cleaner to make it safer for you to eat. We all have a choice in this country, to eatnot to eat, to turn onoff the TV and to do the right thing. Personally, I think a little education goes a long way. If you choose consume highly processed foods, you jeopardize your health and that is your right. If you cant afford to pay for the healthcare you will need to take care of your diabetes, heart disease and many other ailments associated with a highly processed diet, then we the tax payers pick up the tab in the form of medicaid. So on the one hand you can eat what you want but in the end we all suffer the consequences of those choices. And just so no one thinks I am being self righteous here, I have eaten at McDonalds and because of all their R&D, they know exactly how to make food taste so you keep coming back for more. And they dont care if its naturally occurringsome Frankenstein version!
