Lost and Found wins BAFTA

Studio AKA has recently won the prestigious British film prize for their short animation film Lost and Found, the 2009 BAFTA for Children's Animation.Accepting the award were Producer Sue Goffe & Director Philip Hunt of production company STUDIO AKA. This prestigious recognition from the British academy marks the 22nd Award that the film has received in the past six months, including the Playgrounds Award for Best Short 2009, and is a fantastic achievement for the studio - and most especially the amazing crew - who toiled for 11 months non stop to complete the film. Congratulations guys, keep up the good work!

LOST AND FOUND was made by a crew of 20 working in four countries over 11 months, rethinking the simple drawn style of the original book into an epic 3D CG film and tackling some of the studios most challenging set pieces to date – including their own ‘perfect storm’.
