On October 21, the top videos selected by the YouTube Play jury were revealed and celebrated at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. The videos will be presented at the Guggenheim Museums in New York, Bilbao, Berlin, and Venice on October 22–24, 2010. They comprise the ultimate YouTube playlist: a selection of the most unique, innovative, groundbreaking video work being created and distributed online during the past two years. For the third time in a row the Playgrounds Awards were handed out during Playgrounds Festival. Five prices were given to the best digital shorts of 2010.

Playgrounds Festival is founded as a platform for inspiration and knowledge. That’s why on October 8 there will be a special meeting in the 013 foyer organized for digital creatives active in motion design, animation and the film industry.

Dentsu London, a creative communications agency, collaborated with BERG to visualize their “Making Future Magic” strategy in a movie. They decided to make a stop motion animation with light drawings made with an iPad. At the beginning they explain the process, the real video starts at 1:40.
