Smith & Foukes Comcast Anthem, Nexus Productions

We are more than proud to have Chris O'Reilly and Cedric Gairard from Nexus Productions as our guests during Playgrounds 2010.

Nexus is an independent production company and animation studio based in London, with a worldwide reputation for creative storytelling across a range of media. Their work includes an Oscar nominated short, Grammy nominated and MTV Award winning music videos, and Cannes Grand Prix, Gold Lions, and Black D&AD pencil winning commercials.

Nexus Productions are dedicated to the development of unique voices in filmmaking, with a roster of directing talent working with multi-disciplinary skills in animation, live-action and interactive media. The studio’s production, animation, post-production staff and facilities support them, with Nexus being a home for both the people and the technology to create some of the most innovative work in entertainment and branded content.

Nexus brings together artists and technical talent to work in a collaborative atmosphere to make exciting, talked about creative content.

'Zombie Nation'
Zombie Nation is al sinds 1999 een bekend gezicht binnen de electro scene. De hit Kernkraft 400 staat bij vele in het geheugen gegrift en haalde in veel landen de top van de muzieklijsten. Zombie Nation heeft echter niet stilgezeten. 3 albums later is het nog steeds een van de leidende acts op het gebied van electro en dat gaan op 23 november tijdens Playgrounds zien!

Huoratron staat ook wel bekend als �The Bearded Beast from Finland� en dat is niet voor niks. Zijn mix van electronica is hard en direct. Huoratron weet perfect hoe hij het publiek moet opzwepen. Dit deed hij al online met zijn spraakmakende clips maar ook live is deze energiekeling niet te versmaden

Op Playgrounds Night is ook ruimte voor de betere dubstep in de vorm van Raveyards. Deze Belgen mengen vocals met glitch achtige beats wat zorgt voor een donkere melancholische sfeer die kan wedijveren met Nine Inch Nails.
