Born as a pet project between director David Wilson and artist and musician Sam Potter, Beyond Golden was performed as a one-off collaboration earlier this year for Flatpack Festival in Birmingham, UK. After the success of the show, Playgrounds has managed to persuade the duo to reform for our Thursday night party. The Beyond Golden show is loosely based around a concept of celebrating Sam’s Grandparent’s 60th Wedding Anniversary. Mixing a fusion of disco classics and post-punk, with unique visuals; some that have been made especially for this evening. Complete with a special introductory speech by comedian Peter Serafinowicz (Look Around You, The Peter Serafinowicz Show), please attend with your dancing shoes and your eye-sight.
