Job, Joris & Marieke are Job Roggeveen (1979), Joris Oprins (1980) and Marieke Blaauw (1979). They met during their study at the Design Academy in Eindhoven. Job studied graphic design and Joris and Marieke studied product design. In 2007 they founded their studio in Utrecht. When they start a project they always work together on the concept and the design. When they decided which technique to use, they divide the work. It's an organic process in which they all have a share. Roughly speaking; Joris and Marieke work on the animation and storytelling and Job works on the illustrations and music. This allows them to work fast and efficient. And that's how splendid things are made! Splendid things like the most played music video ever ( in the Netherlands) : 'Ik neem je mee' by Gers Pardoel.

In Amsterdam, Job, Joris & Marieke will take part in the Young Talent Talkshow.

  • Really beautiful and colempx piece to achieve in 3D and even more in the real life. Maybe with Tsplines it wouldnb4t be such a headache to model it.I respect those who donb4t like this design, but maybe they donb4t know how hard it really is to start designing this kind of non explodable-out of the box objects much similar as nature models.

'Zombie Nation'
Zombie Nation is al sinds 1999 een bekend gezicht binnen de electro scene. De hit Kernkraft 400 staat bij vele in het geheugen gegrift en haalde in veel landen de top van de muzieklijsten. Zombie Nation heeft echter niet stilgezeten. 3 albums later is het nog steeds een van de leidende acts op het gebied van electro en dat gaan op 23 november tijdens Playgrounds zien!

Huoratron komt het afmaken op Playgrounds

Huoratron
'Huoratron'
Huoratron staat ook wel bekend als ‘The Bearded Beast from Finland’ en dat is niet voor niks. Zijn mix van electronica is hard en direct. Huoratron weet perfect hoe hij het publiek moet opzwepen. Dit deed hij al online met zijn spraakmakende clips maar ook live is deze energiekeling niet te versmaden

'Raveyards'
Op Playgrounds Night is ook ruimte voor de betere dubstep in de vorm van Raveyards. Deze Belgen mengen vocals met glitch achtige beats wat zorgt voor een donkere melancholische sfeer die kan wedijveren met Nine Inch Nails.
